PROJECTS YOU CAN HELP PROTECT

Rumi's Cave have been based in South Kilburn for the past decade and hosts a diverse range of social and cultural programmes to connect hearts, minds and communities. At the Carlton Vale site (part of the Carlton-Granville building) on average, we have 4000 visitors for the 60+ programmes that we run monthly, most of which are run free of charge. These are collaboratively run with like minded individuals, community organisations and project who have the intention of serving the community

Some of the projects that run from this long-standing community building are Food Banks, Soup Kitchens and community lunches

Breakfast Clubs for school children and local residents, Night Shelters for the homeless, Tea & Chat sessions for the elderly

IT support for the elderly, Martial Arts and Yoga (Children & Adults), Language Courses, Music Lessons, Knitting & Crochet club

Mental Health support groups, Open mic and poetry sessions, Free Community movie nights, Interfaith understanding meetings, music nights, Herbal medicine Training, Alternative Medicine Treatments and support.

You can learn more about the activities and our partners below, of what you see is only a partial list.

It is absolutely necessary to allow the Carlton-Granville community space to remain as it is to allow these community benefits and and activities to remain as they are

ABOUT US >

We are users of the Carlton-Granville Community space who wish to protect the traditional use of the building, which is the interest of transparent service of the community.
